Severe Weather Possible Saturday Night

MEMPHIS WEATHER - A Tornado Watch in effect for most of the mid-south until 9:00pm. This includes all of east Arkansas and most of west Tennessee, along with parts of northwest Mississippi. Storms will arrive in Memphis sometime around 7:00pm. Strong winds and flash flooding will be the main concerns along with a few possible tornadoes. Most storms will be out of the viewing area by midnight. Sunday morning looks dry as lows fall into the upper 40s for most areas.

The next several days look quiet. Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs in the low 60s and overnight lows in the low 40s. Monday and Tuesday will stay dry with highs in the upper 60s. Showers and even a few storms will be possible overnight Tuesday.

Showers and storms look likely on Wednesday with our next cold front as highs remain in the upper 60s. A few lingering showers will be possible Thursday morning as highs cool to around 60. Friday and Saturday will be quiet with sunshine and highs around 60.
