ABC24 visits Black-owned restaurants in celebration of Memphis Black Restaurant Week

The event started in 2016 to honor Black-owned restaurants in Memphis and features special deals at participating restaurants.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Bluff City is celebrating Black-owned restaurants for Memphis Black Restaurant Week from March 17 to 23, and ABC24 is highlighting some of the best places to dine. 

The event, which started in 2016 to celebrate Black-owned restaurants in Memphis, features special deals at participating restaurants and has brought in more than $2.5 million for its participants since it began.

ABC24 Morning Show anchor Ruben Diaz previewed five restaurants to celebrate the occasion and shows viewers great restaurants to try out. View the journey below!
