MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Dozens of Memphis city employees were recognized Wednesday fortheir service to the bluff city.
Local 24 News anchor Rudy Williams served as emcee at this year’s OvationAwards at the Cannon Center.
Awards were given to employees for exceptional customer service, leadership,and teamwork.
Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland says this is a way of thanking firstresponders, public works crews, and administrative employees for their hardwork.
