MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Tennessee education officials are dubbing this week  "Finish the FAFSA Week," with the aim to push high school seniors to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid before May 15.

The goal is to get students to qualify for free tuition through the Tennessee Promise program.

The Tennessee Higher Education Commission and Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation organized resources at CollegeforTN.org to help students and families to complete the FAFSA application. Items include detailed step-by-step directions and instructional videos for finishing the application. There are also school resources that include guides to assist schools in helping their students and boost FAFSA completion rates.

Information on how to complete the FAFSA is available here.
