MEMPHIS, Tennessee — For the second time in as many weeks, the statue of Christopher Columbus in Marquette Park in east Memphis has been vandalized.
According to the Memphis Police Department, “black rubber paint” was used to vandalize the statue.
A motive was not given in either vandalism call.
