MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are searching for the driver in a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian critically injured in southwest Memphis.
MPD officers responded to the crash just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, at South Third St., just south of Horn Lake Rd. They found a woman who had been struck and she was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators said the driver, possibly in a white Toyota Camry with dark tinted windows, took off northbound on South Third, passing Horn Lake Rd. They said the vehicle may have damage on the front and right side.
