Man critically injured after South Memphis shooting

Memphis Police said a man arrived by a private vehicle at Regional One Health just after midnight on Friday with bullet wounds all over his body.

A man is seriously injured after getting shot multiple times overnight in South Memphis. 

The Memphis Police Department said a man arrived by a private vehicle at Regional One Health in critical condition at 12:15 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9. Hospital staff told police that he had bullet wounds “all over” his body, including his head, chest, arms, and legs. 

Police said the shooting happened in the 700 block of South Parkway, where officers found a white car damaged with over 30 bullets. 

Investigators also connected the shooting to another scene near the intersection of Crump Boulevard and Mississippi Boulevard, where they also found eight to nine rounds.
