Memphis Police investigating multiple weekend shootings

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — There have been multiple separate shootings between Friday night and the end of the weekend in the city of Memphis, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).

Officers said they responded to 3888 Macon Road shortly after 11 p.m. on Friday.

One man was transported to critical condition in Regional One, according to MPD. 

Police said they had one man detained as of press time.

MPD said another shooting took place at 115 Vance Avenue.

Officers said they responded shortly before midnight and that one man was transported to critical condition in Regional One. 

One man was treated on the scene. 

No suspect information was reportedly available from MPD as of press time.

MPD said another shooting took place at Austin Peay and Raleigh Millington.

Officers said they responded toward 5:30 a.m. Saturday and that one man was transported to critical condition in Regional One.
