MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A boy was gravely injured after a shooting in South Memphis on Friday afternoon, according to the Memphis Police Department.
MPD said they responded to a shooting around 2:10 p.m., in the 500 block of E Mallory Avenue. There, they found a boy in critical condition who was then taken to the hospital.
The following Monday, police confirmed that the boy was 17 years old.
Investigators said no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
