DESOTO COUNTY, Miss — A man walking along a DeSoto County highway was killed in a hit-and-run on July 4th.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, Donterio T. Brewer, 32 was walking northbound in the southbound lane of US-61 around 11:30 a.m. when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.
Brewer, of Charleston, Mississippi, died on the scene.
The crash is still under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
