WATCH: MPD releases video showing 3 teens grabbing woman, robbing others at gunpoint at Memphis Dollar Tree

Memphis Police said they're still looking for the three teens who attempted multiple robberies at an East Memphis Dollar Tree on Christmas Eve.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are looking for three teens they said were responsible for trying to rob multiple people inside an East Memphis Dollar Tree on Christmas Eve, and recently-released video shows disturbing footage of the teens grabbing a woman while robbing others at gunpoint.

Memphis Police said their officers first responded to a carjacking call at the Dollar Tree at 1201 Getwell Road around 12:45 p.m. on Christmas Eve. There, the victim told them she parked her car when three unknown armed teens approached her and demanded her keys, before driving off with the car. 

Later, at 5:36 p.m., Memphis Police said those same teens came back to the Dollar Tree and attempted to rob two people in the store at gunpoint. They then ran away in an unknown direction.

Robbery Suspects Dollar Tree 1201 Getwell Road Report #2312029353ME MEMPHIS, TN – On December 24, 2023, at approximately 12:45 p.m., officers responded to a carjacking at 1201 Getwell Road at Dollar Tree. Officers were advised that the victim parked her car when three unknown armed male suspects approached her. They demanded the keys to her black Audi A3. The suspects took the victim’s vehicle and fled westbound on Rhodes, followed by a gold Mercedes that was taken in a carjacking. At 5:36 p.m., the same suspects came back to the Dollar Tree and attempted to rob two victims in the store at gunpoint. The males fled the store in an unknown direction. Suspect #1 was a dark-skinned Black male wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He was armed with an unknown firearm. Suspect #2 was a dark-skinned Black male wearing a turquoise hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and high tops tennis shoes. Suspect #3 was a light-skinned Black male wearing a green Bart Simpson hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and high-top tennis shoes. Memphis Police said the first teen was wearing a red hoodie and blue jeans. He was armed with an unknown firearm. The second teen wore a turquoise hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and high tops tennis shoes while the third was wearing a green Bart Simpson hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and high-top tennis shoes.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, MPD said. Anyone with information about this incident should call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.
