MARIANNA, Ark. — Arkansas State Police is investigating a homicide near Lee County Road 706, north of Marianna, where a farmer found a woman dead in a field on Tuesday.
Investigators said the woman was later identified as 30-year-old Ashley Monroe of Lexa, Ark.
Monroe's body was transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine the cause of death.
