MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Late Saturday night, a vehicle struck a home near the Alta Vista neighborhood and killed one person, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
Officers said they responded shortly before midnight to the hit-and-run crash at 3038 Overton Crossing Street. The occupant of this home was found to be dead, according to MPD.
The driver left the scene, MPD said.
Police also said that this is an ongoing investigation.
