MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police said they are looking for the suspect of a deadly hit-and-run crash that took place near the Orange Mound neighborhood on Saturday night.

Officers said around 9 p.m. they responded to the 100 block of Mount Vernon — first to a shots fired call. A man was found dead nearby on Barron, police said. Police said they didn't know at the time if the two were related.

Later, MPD identified the man as Cedric Bynum and said he was hit by a car on Barron at Mount Vernon.

Police said they are now looking for the driver of a black 4-door sedan with tinted windows. They said this vehicle is possibly an Infiniti, Honda or an Acura.
