Funeral arrangements have been set for the Rev. Dwight Montgomery, who died suddenly last Wednesday.
Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Annesdale Cherokee Baptist Church at 2960 Kimball.
The funeral service for Dr. Montgomery is Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Cummings Street Baptist Church, located at 8800 Winchester Rd. He will lie in repose from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins.
Wake and burial information are pending.
The 67-year-old led Annesdale Cherokee Baptist Church locally, and nationally drew strong marks as the President of Memphis’ chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
