MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Some residents in Memphis will need to take their garbage out a day later due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial observance on Thursday, April 4.
The City of Memphis said trash will not be picked up on Thursday, April 4, for those living in certain areas (A-D), including parts of Downtown and South Memphis. Instead, they are asked to take their trash cans out for pick up on Friday, April 5.
Everyone else will remain on their same schedule.
People in the highlighted areas below will be impacted by the change:
Customers serviced by the contractor Team Waste will not be affected by the change.
