FORREST CITY, Ark. (localmemphis.com) – A deadly multi-vehicle crash along I-40 near Forrest City led to part of the interstate being blocked Wednesday morning.
Arkansas Department of Transportation says I-40 westbound just east of Forrest City at mile marker 250 is shut down as the investigation continues.
We are told four commercial vehicles and four passenger cars are involved. Authorities said the crash was deadly, but have not yet said how many have died or been injured.
The blocked lanes were cleared about noon.
