Man charged, arrested after shooting in southeast Shelby County shooting critically injures one, SCSO says

MEMPHIS, Tenn — A 28-year-old man is charged with aggravated assault and domestic assault after Shelby County authorities said they are investigating a shooting that left a woman critically injured Friday night. 

The shooting took place in the 4600 block of Doe Creek Cove, according to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office (SCSO). Rickey May was arrested by SCSO after a woman was taken to Regional One in critical condition, they said. 

SCSO said that this is an ongoing investigation.
