DESOTO CO, Miss. (localmemphis.com) – There are developments in a high-profile death case in Mississippi. The lawsuit against the city of Southaven in the death of Troy Goode began Monday. Goode died after being hogtied by Southaven police in 2015.
His arrest was caught on cell phone video.
The state medical examiner said he died from complications due to LSD in his system, but his family’s legal team says he suffocated because of being hogtied.
