Police are looking for whoever opened fire in a downtown Memphis parking lot early Sunday morning.

A person living in the adjacent Wagner Place condominium complex near Front Street and Beale caught it all on camera.

No one was hurt, but the bullets hit one woman’s car.

“I always park there because it’s free parking during the weekends,” said Ceddreka Lucas.

Lucas spent today cleaning up the shattered glass in her car. Bullets hit her two windows and damaged the mechanics leaving the car undrivable.

It’s her first car, and she owned it fewer than three months.

“I work two jobs; I’m in school. I don’t know how I am going to get back and forth from school to work and work to school. It’s just a lot,” said Lucas.

Memphis Police are asking for the public help identify the car and the people in it.

“Somebody out there knows who’s doing this. This is not horseplay. This is serious felonious acts,” said Colonial Gloria Bullock. ” I’m completely frustrated by it. completely frustrated and it’s not going to be tolerated. “

Before the shooting took place, you can see in the video a lot of people gathering in the parking lot in front.

The shooting took place as the crowd broke up

People who live in the area say during the week the lot is safe, but weekend there are continuous problems. Lucas now knows that first hand.

“I’m kinda lost right now. I don’t know what to do. What to do next,” said Lucas.
