MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Olive Branch officials said Friday morning that the city’s phone system issues have now been resolved after announcing it was not working properly the day before.
They said Thursday, May 2, that the problem at the central office was due to an issue with the phone provider and technicians were working to solve the problem.
The city’s non-emergency number (662-895-4111) was affected by the number, meaning any alarm system set up to call that number will receive an “all circuits busy” message and dispatch would not get the call. The city said the 911 system was not affected by the outage.
