GERMANTOWN, Tenn — Poplar Ave. at Kimbrough Rd. shut down in both directions on Tuesday, April 2, and one eastbound lane will continue to be closed through Thursday, according to Germantown officials.
On Tuesday, a Germantown alert message said the shutdown was due to damage to a gas main, and roads opened back up around an hour later. On Wednesday, officials said Public Works crews were working on a water main break near Poplar Avenue and Kimbrough Road.
The outermost eastbound lane on Poplar Ave., east of Kimbrough Rd., will be closed through Thursday morning, officials said.
