MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – A 50-day cross-country train trip made a stop in Memphis. “Summerby Rail” is advocating for better trains and transportation in America.

Memphis was the backdrop for food and culinary scenes Monday, wheretrains can help connect riders.

Transit supporter Madison Butler says she’s getting a taste of Memphis’most popular restaurants.

“I want to give a lot of first-person narrative and first-personperspective if there is a delay, what the delay is like. Or how affordable arestaurant may be if it’s a popular tourist destination. If menu items ordietarily inclusive and the cool places you can visit along the way,” saidButler.

Butler also plans to visit some historic sites while in town.
