Wednesday’s wet weather caused headaches for drivers in Tipton County. There were reports of roads flooding and at least one tree down.
Local 24 News was on scene as crews worked for three hours to remove a tree that fell across Main Street off Highway 51 in Atoka.
Police had the area blocked off to drivers and redirected traffic.
Further north in Brighton, there was a report of a water rescue as one woman required the assistance of the fire department to get her out of standing water.
Officials warn drivers not to drive through any standing water, and instead, turn around.
