Memphis police say a man was shot while trying to buy a car from a person on the website.

Investigators are still searching for the shooter.

It happened a little after 11 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 4700 block of Quintell Ave. in Raleigh.

Police say the victim was eventually found at a Walgreens about a mile away.

People living in the neighborhood where the shooting happened say they’re not shocked by it.

“It doesn’t bother me too bad because I think it’s all over Memphis in different pockets of town,” says Denise Bond. She says she’ll hear gunfire in the neighborhood on a regular basis but not on the street where the shooting took place.

The victim was taken to Regional One and is expected to be fine.
