MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – This weekend, the City of Memphis will help residents get back in compliance with the law.
Restoration Saturday will be held for people who need helpwith expungements, drivers license and child support issues.
Information on a tuition-free education as well as help overcomingemployment barriers will be made available.
D.A. Amy Weirich says this event is held to keep people fromhaving to drive downtown.
“We do this with the hopes of helping people on a day off beable to come to one place and get questions answered, and get help. We may notbe able to provide you with everything that you want. We can only help peoplethat have Shelby County issues.”
Restoration Saturday will be Saturday, October 26 from 10a.m. to 2 p.m. at Southland Mall inWhitehaven. Doors will close at 1:30 p.m.
