MEMPHIS WEATHER – Just a reminder that Daylight Saving Time begins overnight Saturday. Move your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed. This is also a good time to check the batteries on your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

Rain with a few storms will be likely for the mid-south Saturday night, especially after 7:00pm. There is a Slight Risk for severe weather in the Mississippi Delta with strong winds being the main concern if strong storms develop. Rain and storms chances should take a brief break by sunrise on Sunday. Temps in Memphis will be in the upper 50s around 10:00pm with overnight lows around 50 areawide.

Scattered showers will be possible during the day, although we are not looking at any sort of washout for the day. Highs will be in the upper 50s for most areas. Showers exit by Sunday evening with Monday morning lows falling into the upper 30s.

The upcoming work week looks dry with sunny or partly sunny skies expected all week. Highs for Monday through Wednesday will be in the low 50s with overnight lows in the low to mid 30s. Highs jump into the 60s for Thursday and Friday with lows staying out of the 30s. Our next chance for a few showers and storms will be next Saturday as highs to begin the weekend warm to around 70.
