MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A fire engine was struck by a vehicle at Interstate 240 and Getwell around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, resulting in one death and four hospitalizations, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
One occupant of the car that hit the fire engine died as a result of the crash and one other was transported to critical condition at Regional One, according to MPD.
