West Tennessee Eggo plant to permanently close, affecting 142 workers

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An Eggo plant in West Tennessee will close, affecting 142 workers.

In a WARN letter (Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification) dated March 26, 2024, the Kellanova Company said it will permanently close the Eggo Plant in Rossville, Tennessee, which is in Fayette County.

The notice said layoffs are expected to begin June 1 and be completed by Nov. 30. The company said some of the employees who are represented by a collective bargaining agreement will have if applicable.

The letter said the Greater Memphis Local Workforce Development Area rapid response team has been notified to coordinate services with affected employees.
