Southaven Police: Man barricaded himself in Orange Mound after robbery in Southaven MetroPCS

Southaven Police said the suspect tied the store employee in the back of the store during the robbery

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Southaven Police are investigating after they said a man robbed a MetroPCS and tied the store employee, on Friday. According to Southaven Police, the possible suspect was tracked down to the 1500 block of Airways, where there is a barricade situation lasted for roughly two hours.

Traffic was blocked in that section of Airways.

Police said the suspect of the robbery was wearing a cream and black sweatshirt with black sweat pants.

The investigation is still ongoing, according to Memphis Police. They are also asking that if anybody knows the identity of the suspect they contact the Southaven Police Department at (662) 393-8652 or to send an email tips@southaven.org.
