MARKS, Mississippi — An "active shooting" incident in Marks on Tuesday has been resolved, according to the Quitman County Sheriff’s Department.
The sheriff's department said several Mississippi agencies were responding to an "active shooting" incident on Tuesday at around 1 p.m.
The sheriff’s office said the suspect barricaded himself inside a home in Charlie Pride Highway South in Marks near Trinity Baptist Church.
At 2 p.m., officials said the incident was resolved and the suspect is in custody.
There were no injuries reported.
