Memphis Police release video of person of interest in deadly South Memphis shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn — Memphis Police have released video of a person of interest in a deadly shooting Tuesday in South Memphis.

MPD officers responded to the shooting about noon Nov. 7, 2023, in the 700 block of Orange Ave. near Victor St. They found a man shot several times, and he died at the scene.

Investigators released video showing a man walking away from the direction of the shooting. They said he appears to be holding a long weapon. They said he is a person of interest wanted for questioning.

Anyone who knows who this man is or has any other information on the shooting is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH.

Person of Interest Homicide 700 Block of Orange Avenue Report #2311022816ME MEMPHIS, TN – On November 7, 2023, around 12:00 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 700 block of Orange Avenue. Upon making the scene, officers observed a male victim unresponsive and appeared to be suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. Attached is a video of a male seen walking away from the direction of the shooting and holding what appeared to be a long weapon. Additional photos in the comments.
