MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Some residents in Memphis will need to hold on to their garbage an extra day due to Memorial Day.
The city said garbage collectors will not pick up residents' trash Monday, May 27, to observe the holiday. Instead, trash will be collected Tuesday. Those who usually have their garbage picked up on other days will not be affected.
The collection of extra trash and yard waste will be limited for Monday and Tuesday customers.
Additionally, residents served by Team Waste will have a one-day delay.
