MEMPHIS, Tenn — Memphis Police said one person died after a one-car crash early Wednesday morning.
MPD officers responded to the crash just after 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in the area of Airways Blvd. and Holmes, just south of Memphis International Airport.
They found a vehicle had struck a pole, and one person died at the scene.
Investigators have not said what led to the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
