Shelby County Super Tuesday elections: Here's what you need to know

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with results expecting to arrive soon after.

SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — Super Tuesday has arrived in Shelby County and voters are going to the polls on March 5 for the primary elections to decide which candidates will represent their political parties in the general elections.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with results expecting to arrive soon after. Early voting ended Feb. 27. 

Outside of the Republican Presidential Primary and Democratic Presidential Primary, voters will decide winners for the Shelby County General Sessions Court Clerk Democratic Primary and Shelby County General Secessions Court Clerk Republican Primary, which only features one candidate. Find a sample ballot HERE.

In the Natural State, where polls are open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., voters will choose the next Arkansas Supreme Court Chief Justice.
