TENNESSEE, USA — The third week of playoff games are in the books for high school football teams in Tennessee.

"Mindset vs. mindset. Will vs. will." Rivalries surfaced in the third week of Friday night football playoffs in the Memphis area.

Here are highlights from across Memphis and more as well as a scoreboard of select games to boot:

Game of the week: Germantown vs. Houston

Houston wanted the upset, and they got tricky. Chandler Day set up to Damon Sisa, who rode the sidelines with a caravan in front of him. Then he turned on the jets.

Touchdown Houston to go up 10 to 3. The Red Devils tried to answer back. Cordero Walker can scoot, and he tried to outrun the defense. He got down inside the twenty, and then on the goal line, it looked like he got stuffed but walker pops out of the pile and he walked in — 10 to 10.

Still, Houston had the upset in mind. Chandler Day found Derrick Miller Jr. to take the lead. They wouldn't give it back — 30 to 10 the final. Houston is now going to the 6a semifinals after knocking off Germantown.
