Move prompted by death of George Floyd

MEMPHIS, Tennessee —

In the wake of protests and uprisings around the world because of the death of George Floyd by four Minneapolis police officers two weeks ago, businesses, companies, including TEGNA, the company that owns Local 24, and universities across the country are trying to find ways to address the problems of racial injustice and police brutality black men and women face in America.
