MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have identified a suspect wanted in a shooting last December at a lounge in Memphis.
On Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, MPD officers responded to the shooting at J&B Lounge in the 600 block of Walnut St. near Crump Blvd. just after 12:15 a.m. They originally reported two people had been shot. In a new release on Aug. 23, 2023, MPD said Deanthony Seymour was found shot at the lounge and taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Investigators said Marico Patterson was identified as the suspect in the shooting. MPD issued a warrant for his arrest.
