MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said a teenage bicyclist is dead after being hit by a car.
It happened about 12:30 p.m. Monday in the 3800 block of Bayliss, south of Chelsea and north of Macon near the Nutbush neighborhood.
Police said the male on the bicycle - identified Tuesday as a 14-year-old - died at the scene. They have not released the victim's name.
The driver stayed at the scene, and police have not said if anyone will be charged.
