MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a shooting happened overnight on Jackson Avenue.
The Memphis Police Department (MPD) responded to the incident Tuesday, April 16, 2024, around 12:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Jackson Avenue, where officers found a man.
An ABC24 crew member saw an officer perform CPR on the victim. However, MPD said the man was pronounced dead.
