ARLINGTON, Tenn. — The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Monday afternoon.
It happened about 1 p.m. at Milton Wilson Blvd. and Airline Road in Arlington. Investigators said the person who was hit was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition. They have since been upgraded to stable.
Airline Road was shutdown in both directions for about an hour as deputies investigated what happened. It has since reopened.
