SOUTHAVEN, Miss — A boil water advisory notice was lifted Wednesday for a school and church in Southaven after a water main broke, city officials announced.
DeSoto Central Primary School and Heartland Church on Getwell Road were placed under the advisory Tuesday, March 19, and advised to bring water to a rolling boil for at least 5 minutes before drinking if bottled water was not available.
A day later, the city said water samples returned clear and people could go back using and consuming water normally.
